Rev. Yashika Tippett-Eggleston is a native of St. Louis, MO. She is also the founding Principal of the Air Force Academy High School in Chicago, IL.

Rev. Yashika earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Missouri-Columbia, Master of Business Administration from Webster University, Master of Education Administration from Chicago State University, and has begun work toward a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from NOVA Southeastern University.

Rev. Yashika is a retired Captain in the United States Army Reserve where she served twenty-two years. She is also a published playwright and director. She is the immediate past Vice President at Large of the Young Adult Women of the Progressive National Baptist Convention, Inc. Rev. Yashika enjoys motivational speaking and advocating for children, young adults, and young females.

Rev. Yashika was licensed and ordained at The faith family of West Point Missionary Baptist Church under the pastoral leadership of Rev. Dr. L. Bernard Jakes.
